• How much does it cost to clean the outside of my home?

When you hire a Klean Kingdom expert, we'll provide you with a detailed quote for the service to be completed. We'll perform all cleaning services within the allocated quote and within the estimated time frame. • How often should I get the outside of my house or building cleaned?

  Typically, we recommend booking an exterior cleaning service for your home or commercial buildings every 12-18 months. Between soft washing, mildew and mould can fester across your exterior walls, damaging the paint or causing significant problems with the building's structural integrity.

• How do you perform exterior cleaning services in Sydney?

  When we clean the outside of your home or corporate building, the cleaning options are as follows:

  • High or low-pressure wash, to accommodate pressure-sensitive surfaces
  • Telescopic pole with a water-fed brush using purified water
  • Traditional clean (with soap applicator, and squeegee)
  • Soft wash (chemical treatment)

  When we choose a method of cleaning, we look at the specifics of the building including things like the surface materials and accessibility to surfaces. We carry out residential and commercial pressure washing and other cleaning services.

• Can your cleaners be right on time?

  Although our cleaners always aim to be on time, there might be times where our team might arrive around 15 minutes earlier or later due to changing traffic conditions, severe weather or any other unforeseeable circumstances. Rest assured that if our cleaners are running late, they will contact you (message / email) 10 minutes before.

• How many people will come to clean my house?

  This depends on the size of your property, the work scope and our staff availability / schedule. We send 1 to 3 cleaners per job on a case by case basis. For some reasons, if you need the job done in a shorter period of time with many cleaners, please let our office know.

• Do I have to be home during the service?

  Not necessarily, the decision is yours. You can be there to let our cleaners in and leave after service. Or you can not even be there at all. Please note that our cleaners work more efficient if the property is empty.

• Are our detergents eco-friendly?

  Transparency is fundamental in our business, and we're more than willing to clarify our choices and methods. For house washing, while we keep some elements of our detergent recipe confidential, we openly discuss the primary active ingredient. Our proprietary house washing solution contains approximately 1% sodium hypochlorite, complemented by surfactants for effective cleaning. Sodium hypochlorite, akin to the active component in liquid chlorine, is reactive but becomes inert in our formula's ratios before entering the environment. While undiluted application can harm grass, our cautious approach, low ratios, and vegetation protection measures have prevented any issues. This substance is not bioaccumulative and leaves no lasting impact on the environment. Apart from the evident risk to the eyes, there are no anticipated adverse health effects. Sodium hypochlorite is routinely used in pools and drinking water, and we assure you that we wouldn't use it if there were any long-term health concerns for ourselves, our customers, their pets, or their homes.

• Do the cleaners have police checks?

  Yes, all of our cleaners have undergone police checks before they can commence any cleaning work. The cleaners have to pass an interview with our office staff and they have to go through our company policy and cleaning procedures before they can be assigned to any work.
